BBL Photo Facial
San Francisco BBL Photo Facial
What if there was a way to rejuvenate your skin and delay skin aging with a quick and easy annual treatment? Well, now there is.* Forever Young BBL™ photo facial uses cutting edge technology to deliver targeted light therapy specifically designed to eliminate brown spots and redness, improving both skin tone and glow.* Even more exciting, studies demonstrate that BBL treatments can restore gene expression patterns of aged human skin to resemble that of young skin.* Long term studies show that patients who maintain a regular regimen of BBL treatments annually can reduce and delay signs of skin aging.*
Years of sun exposure can leave your skin looking dry and damaged. The UV rays actually activate pigment producing cells in the skin which is what causes brown spots. And nothing makes your skin look older than blemishes of brown pigment. Luckily, Dr. David Sieber specializes in the treatment of these blemishes on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, and legs using Forever Young BBL™ photo facial.
BBL Photo Facial Technique
BBL is a form of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) which works by directly targeting the pigment within your skin. During the procedure, Dr. Sieber will run a handheld device over the skin in your treatment area. The device emits specific pulses of light depending on what’s being treated. The procedure only takes 15-30 minutes, and can be performed anywhere on the body where pigment exists. If your pigment is severe, you may require several treatments for fully realized results. All of this will be discussed with you in detail during your initial consultation.

Preparing for BBL Photo Facial Procedure
When coming in for a procedure, it’s best to have clean well moisturized skin. Any makeup you have on will need to be removed prior to the procedure. Because the BBL cannot tell the difference between normal pigment from a tan and abnormal pigment from too much sun, please refrain from extended sun exposure or sunless tanning creams/self-tanners for at least 3 weeks prior to your treatment. Do not use aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, ginkgo, or alcohol for at least 1 week before and for 2 days after treatment.

Recovery from BBL Photo Facial Procedure
You may experience a little burning or redness for the first 24 hours post procedure. Immediately after treatment, you’ll notice that any areas of pigment will look darker in color. This means that the treatment worked.* It may take up to 30 days for these darkened areas to slough off from the skin, but when they do, healthier and more even toned skin will be revealed.*
